🗓 DAY-BY-DAY · EASY TO SCANDAY 01 Day 1 – Arrival & Transfer to the Capital City (Bagdogra/NJP to Gangtok)
Morning/Afternoon: Arrive at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP). Meet and greet with the local representative.
Transfer: Embark on a scenic drive alongside the Teesta River towards Gangtok, the vibrant capital of Sikkim (approx. 4-5 hours).
Evening: Check into your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, acclimatizing to the altitude or taking a stroll down the famous MG Marg (Mall Road) for local cafes and shopping.

DAY 02 Day 2 – Glacial Lakes & Mountain Passes (Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir)
Morning: After an early breakfast, start your excursion to the spectacular Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft. The lake remains frozen during winter and reflects the surrounding snow-capped peaks in summer.
Mid-Day: Continue to the sacred Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian army soldier.
(Optional: Depending on permit availability and weather conditions, you can opt for an excursion to Nathula Pass, the Indo-China border, for an additional cost).
Evening: Return to your hotel in Gangtok. Free time to relax.

DAY 03 Day 3 – Best of Gangtok & Drive to the Queen of Hills (Gangtok to Darjeeling)
Morning: Check out from the hotel and proceed for a half-day Gangtok city tour. Visit the Banjhakri Falls, the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Do-Drul Chorten Stupa, and the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom.
Afternoon: Begin your scenic drive to Darjeeling (approx. 4 hours). Enjoy the journey through winding mountain roads and lush green valleys, passing by the beautiful Peshok Tea Garden.
Evening: Arrive in Darjeeling, the "Queen of the Hills." Check into your hotel and spend a relaxed evening sipping world-famous Darjeeling tea.

DAY 04 Day 4 – Sunrises & Heritage (Darjeeling Local Sightseeing)
Early Morning (4:00 AM): Wake up early and drive to Tiger Hill to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Kanchenjunga peak (the third-highest peak in the world). On the way back, visit the 135-year-old Ghoom Monastery and the Batasia Loop war memorial.
Late Morning: Return to the hotel for breakfast.
Afternoon: Head out to explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (famous for the Red Panda and Snow Leopard), the Tenzing Rock, and a panoramic view of a lush Tea Estate. Visit the peaceful Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda.

DAY 05 Day 5 – Lake Excursion (Mirik Lake & Pashupati Market)

Mid-Day: Arrive at Sumendu Lake (Mirik Lake). Enjoy a peaceful boat ride (optional) or a nature walk around the lake surrounded by cryptomeria trees. Stop by the Pashupati Nagar Market located at the Indo-Nepal border (for Indian nationals only, extra vehicle charges may apply at the border).
Evening: Drive back to Darjeeling for your final night in the mountains.
